Why does a panel say "Locked"?
Because a field it needs is empty, or you have not traded enough yet. It is a data gate, never a paywall — the grey Locked pill always comes with a line telling you exactly what would unlock it.
Twenty-one panels across Analytics can appear this way, dimmed with a Locked pill beside the title. It looks like an upsell and it is not one. Every one of them names the missing input in the sentence underneath, and they fall into two kinds.
A field you have not filled in:
- "Log commission values on your trades to see how much fee drag is costing your strategy."
- "Add stop and target prices to your trades to track exit discipline."
- "Log entry price and stop/target on trades to unlock R-multiple analysis."
- "Log trade direction (long/short) on your trades to unlock directional analysis."
- "Need contract/position size data on your trades to analyze sizing patterns."
- "Need trades with entry and exit timestamps to compute hold time analysis."
- "Configure a daily loss limit in Settings to activate this tracker."
Not enough trades yet:
- "Need 20+ trades to run Monte Carlo risk-of-ruin simulations."
- "Need 30+ trades to compute statistically reliable edge confidence intervals."
- "Need 10+ trades across multiple sessions to compute your consistency profile."
- "Need 3+ weeks of trading data to plot playbook adherence trend."
- "Need 2+ setups and 2+ instruments (3+ trades per cell) to build the cross-analysis matrix."
- "Need 2+ accounts with trades in the selected period to compare performance."
- "Need 5+ trades across 3+ trading days to analyze frequency patterns."
The thresholds are not arbitrary padding. A risk-of-ruin figure from twelve trades would be a number with nothing behind it, and showing it would be worse than showing nothing.
Two things worth knowing. The filter row can lock a panel — narrowing to one setup over one week can drop you under a threshold you clear comfortably over all time, so widen the period before concluding a panel is broken. And a locked panel has no Full Report button, because there is nothing yet to report on.
