What does a day cell show me?
The date, that day's grade if you graded it, a dot for the debrief state, the day's net P&L, how many trades it held, and an amber R badge if any of them were random.
A traded day reads top to bottom in four beats.
- The date, and beside it the grade. The coloured letter is the overall grade you gave the day on its report card — it only appears once you have set one.
- The dot, top right. Green: the debrief is marked complete. Amber: a debrief exists but is not finished. Grey: nothing written yet.
- The P&L, in green or red, which is that day's net across every closed trade. Positions still open contribute nothing to it — their result does not exist yet, and counting them as zero would book an open trade as a scratch.
- The trade count, and under it an amber R:n badge if any of those trades were logged as random, meaning outside your playbook.
A day with no trades still shows its date and the words No trades, and still opens.
