How long is the trial and what happens when it ends?

Fourteen days. When it ends the app shows a gate instead of the journal, offering to upgrade, with a Have a code? link for anyone holding one. Your trade data is not touched.

The Dashboard counts down for you — N days left in your trial, then Your trial ends today — so it does not arrive as a surprise.

What the gate says. "14-day trial complete. Your trade data is safe — upgrade to keep journaling." That is the important half: expiry blocks access, it does not delete anything. Come back a month later, licence the app, and your journal is as you left it.

There is no free tier. The trial is the evaluation, and the licence tab points you at the demo on the landing page if you want to look before you start the clock.
