TradePerformance

News

The economic calendar, the headlines, what the market actually did when each event landed, and what you did. It is the one page that looks forward rather than back — everything else in the app reads your history; this reads the day in front of you.

How the page is laid out

Top to bottom, it goes from "what is about to happen" to "how you handle it".

  • The next critical event, as a hero card with a countdown, the volatility to expect, and a warning if you are holding something into it.
  • A strip of five figuresEvents today, the surprise index, the volatility regime, your news P&L over thirty days, and the avoid window.
  • The economic calendar and the headlines, side by side, each with its own filters.
  • Today's reactions and how you trade news, side by side — what the market did when each event released, and what your own record around news looks like.

The page refreshes itself every minute, so the countdown and the "what is next" logic stay honest without you reloading.

What is the avoid window?

Why is my News page empty?

If the header says Finnhub key not configured and the calendar shows no events, the server-side news service is not switched on for your account. It is not something you can configure — contact support.
