What is "My trading days"?
A dataset built from your own journal — one row per day you traded — so your trading can be studied with the same machinery as the market.
Press ⇄ My trading days and the app builds (or rebuilds) a dataset called exactly that, with one row for each day you have trades logged on and columns describing that day. It is the one dataset here whose subject is you.
It is worth understanding what it is for. Analytics already reads your trades every way there is. What this gives you that Analytics does not is the ability to put your trading days into the same study machinery as everything else on this page — and, through the transfer test, to replay a market condition against them.
Two things to know:
- It is rebuilt wholesale, not merged. Pressing the button again throws the dataset away and builds it fresh from the journal. Anything you typed into its cells does not survive that, which is why the daily check-in strip is hidden for this one dataset.
- It is only as full as your journal. Nine traded days makes nine rows, and nine rows will not support a study. This dataset gets useful the same way your journal does — slowly.
