What are the five Process Grade components?
In playbook, stop predefined, size within limit, session in schedule, and stop honoured. Each lands on pass, fail, or ungradeable.
The five are deliberately things you decided in advance, so each one is a question about your own plan rather than about the market.
- In playbookThe trade was not flagged as random, meaning you took a setup you had actually planned. A trade that never said either way is ungradeable rather than a pass: CSV imports arrive with no such column, and crediting an unknown as a pass is how a grade becomes flattering.
- Stop predefinedThe trade had a stop price on it. This is the one component that can never be ungradeable: a missing stop is not missing information, it is the finding.
- Size within limitYour contract count was at or under the size cap you set for yourself. Without a cap configured there is nothing to check, so it is ungradeable.
- Session in scheduleThe trade's session is one you listed as a trading session. Needs both a session on the trade and a schedule to compare it to.
- Stop honouredPrice never traded through your planned stop. Measured from bar data against your stop distance, so it needs both a stop and bars behind the trade.
Two of the five depend on settings you may never have filled in — the size cap comes from your personal risk preferences and the session list from your trading schedule. Until both are set, most trades grade out of three rather than out of five.
