What does "ungradeable" mean?

The app could not tell either way, so it declined to guess. Ungradeable components are excluded from the percentage rather than counted as passes or failures.

Three states, never two. This is the difference between a grade you can act on and a number that flatters you.

If you never set a size cap, the app cannot credit you with respecting it. If a CSV import has no bar data behind it, the app cannot tell whether your stop was honoured, so accusing you of blowing through it would be a guess dressed as a finding.

That is why the grade always comes with a second figure. 80% 4/5 means five things could have been checked, four actually were, and 80% of those four passed. A trade showing 100% 1/3 is not a perfect trade — it is one where a single thing could be judged, and the percentage is close to meaningless. Read the second number before you believe the first.
