What does the amber dot on a cell mean?

You typed that value in, and it overrides whatever the app computed for that cell.

Computed cells are normally rewritten every time the derived columns refresh. Once you edit one by hand, that stops: your value is stored as an override, wins from then on, and gets a small amber dot beside it so the difference is visible at a glance.

This is what you want when the data is wrong — a bad print, a half-session the feed recorded as a full one. It is not something to do casually, because an overridden cell no longer tracks the instrument, and a study reading that column is reading your correction rather than the market.

Clearing the cell removes the override and lets the computed value come back.
