What is on the Entry Timing sub-page?
Whether you get in at a good moment — entry quality by time of day, by instrument, and a model of what better fills would have been worth.
Execution starts at the entry, and this sub-page asks one question about it: given where price went afterwards, how good was the moment you chose. It is scored against the trade's own range rather than against an opinion, so a good entry on a losing trade still scores well.
Indicators on this sub-page:
- Entry Timing QualityYour best entry hour and your best session called out with their win rates and trade counts, then P&L by entry hour as a bar per hour of the day, win rate by weekday, and one line worth the whole panel: the share of your trades that fall in your best three hours. A low number there is the cheapest available improvement.
- Entry Timing Quality by instrumentThe same analysis per symbol, selected from a row of instrument chips showing how many trades each has. It needs ten or more trades with an entry price for that symbol, and tells you how many of them qualify so far.
- Entry Improvement Modeling — What If Better Fills? What your record would look like with entries improved by a set amount. It is a ceiling, not a forecast: the honest use is comparing the size of the entry leak against the size of the exit leak before deciding which to work on. Locked until ten or more trades carry entry price and stop data.
