Is the desktop companion included in my license?

Yes. It is the same licence and the same account — one download per machine, sign in, and your journal is already there. It ships in the same release as the web app, not as a separate purchase.

Your data does not move. The desktop app and the browser read the same account. A trade logged on the desktop is on your laptop's browser a moment later, and vice versa. The download page puts it plainly: sign in with the same account and your journal is already there.

Three builds exist: macOS on Apple silicon, macOS on Intel, and Windows 10 or 11 on 64-bit.

One honest caveat. At the time of writing the download page lists all three as Available at launch rather than offering a file. If you are reading this before that changes, the desktop companion is not something you can install yet — everything on the Capture settings page is there so you can configure it in advance.
