What is the Playbook for?
It is where you write down the setups you trade, with their entry rules and checklist, so the rest of the app can measure your trades against your own plan.
Most journals grade outcomes. The problem with that is a small sample of trades pays out more or less at random, so grading outcomes teaches you that a lucky winner was a good decision. The way out is to write down what you intended to do first, and then check your trades against it.
That is the whole job of the Playbook. Once a setup exists:
- The Journal can filter by itPull up every VWAP Reclaim you have taken and read them in one sitting.
- Analytics scores your setups against each other, so you can see which of them is actually carrying you and which one you keep trading out of habit.
- The Grade column can check it"in playbook" is one of the five things a trade is graded on, and it means the trade was not flagged as random.
- The AI tools have something to compare against. The health check reads your rules next to your actual trades on that setup; with no rules written down there is nothing to check.
You do not need many. Two or three setups you actually trade beat fifteen you imported and never took.
