What is the transfer test?

The same condition replayed on a different dataset — real sessions the selection never searched.

If a condition on NQ also works on ES, it was probably never about NQ. That is the whole idea.

Pick a target dataset from the dropdown and press Run. The condition is recompiled against that dataset's columns and measured there, and the result is shown next to the home reading: Here and There, one row per outcome, with each side's edge and the rates behind it.

The replay is ephemeral. Nothing is written to the target dataset, and the result is gone when you close the note.

Three answers other than a result, each of which is informative:

• Cannot replay thereThe target does not have the columns the condition needs.
• The condition never firedIt is expressible there but never true. That is a finding about the condition.
• This study predates stored expressionsAn older study with nothing to replay.
