What is "keep learning my voice"?
On by default. The app quietly refines your voiceprint from clips it is confident are you, so recognition tracks changes in your voice, room and microphone without you re-enrolling.
Voices drift. You get a cold, you move desk, you buy a headset. Left alone, a voiceprint recorded once slowly stops matching the person who recorded it.
Adaptation is guarded in two ways, which is what makes it safe to leave on:
- Only comfortable matches count. A clip has to clear your strictness setting by a clear margin before it is allowed to adjust anything. Something that scrapes past the gate never teaches the print, so an impostor who just squeaks through cannot drag it toward themselves.
- It stays anchored. Each accepted clip nudges the print by only a few percent, and the result is kept close to where the session started. It cannot wander to the room over a long day.
Turn it off if you want the print frozen exactly as enrolled. Everything else keeps working.
