What is personal vocabulary and how is it different from a correction?

Vocabulary is a list you type in advance. Corrections are pairs the app learns from what you fix. Vocabulary biases transcription; corrections also rewrite a specific mishearing.

They solve the same problem from opposite ends, and they stack.

Personal vocabulary is a comma-separated field under Voice mode. Terms you put there are attached to every transcription request as a hint, so the engine leans toward producing them: NQ, ES, MNQ, MES, ATAS, Rithmic, FOMC.

Keep it short, and keep it to names. Ticker symbols and product or brand names are exactly right. Generic column words like CVD or VWAP are exactly wrong — biasing toward a common word makes the engine hallucinate it into fields out of silence, which is worse than the mishearing you were trying to fix.

Corrections need no setup and are specific: they map one misheard form to one intended value. Vocabulary needs typing and is general: it makes a word likelier everywhere.

Personal vocabulary syncs with your other settings. Corrections do not leave the browser.
