How do I add a contract manually?
+ Add instrument on Settings → Asset registry, then fill in the symbol, name, tick size and tick value — and press Save changes.
Worth doing ahead of time for anything you know you will trade, rather than after the first trade lands and its P&L column sits empty because nothing knows what a tick is worth.
If you are unsure of the numbers, they are published by the exchange in the contract specification. Tick size is the smallest price increment the instrument moves in; tick value is what one of those ticks is worth per contract. Crude oil, for example, moves in 0.01 and each tick is worth $10.00; gold moves in 0.10 and is also $10.00 a tick.
