What are the nine goal types?
Five are targets to reach and two are ceilings to stay under, with the remaining two being custom variants. They are: daily P&L, weekly green-day %, monthly net P&L, max drawdown ceiling, prop firm pass, custom P&L, custom win rate, trade count cap, and profit factor.
The distinction that matters is direction — whether you are trying to get above a number or stay below one. The app tracks both, and the two ceilings are the ones people forget to set.
Targets to reach:
- Daily P&L targetA dollar figure per day.
- Weekly green-day %The share of your trading days that finish positive.
- Monthly net P&LA dollar figure per month.
- Prop firm pass targetThe profit target for an evaluation.
- Custom P&L targetA dollar figure over any period you choose.
- Custom win rateA percentage.
- Profit factor targetGross profit divided by gross loss, as a multiple.
Ceilings to stay under:
- Max drawdown ceilingA dollar figure you do not want to exceed.
- Trade count capA maximum number of trades. This is the overtrading goal, and it is the one most likely to change behaviour on a bad day.
Each type arrives with a sensible starting number you then change — a daily P&L target opens at $500, a drawdown ceiling at $2,000, a win rate at 55%, a profit factor at 1.5 — and each knows its own unit, so you are entering dollars, percent, trades or a multiple as appropriate.
